MASONRY

Traditionally orangeries date back centuries and were constructed mainly of brick. Designed to house rare and exotic plants from the colonies, during the summer months these plants would remain outside, but in the cooler months the plants would be wheeled into the orangery to protect them from the cold.

Orangeries today are used for entirely different reasons, but the one thing that remains today, is there kudos, orangeries still remain the ultimate style statement.
