Architects and specifiers : The George Hotel

We were asked to create a very special hardwood orangery to make better use of space to the rear of this country hotel - the client wanted to extend the dining room into this area to increase revenue.

The project was far from straightforward as a number of the walls involved were not in alignment. Whilst overcoming this challenge we created an orangery that allowed extra light into the room and created a very inviting space. The orangery was manufactured from hardwood and finished in a cream stain. Solar controlled glass was

used for the roof glazing to control the heat in summer. Our plans were approved and the whole project was completed on time.

As expected the orangery dining room has been in great demand and has proved to be a very successful extension to the hotel.
